Jim Wallan is a Central Oregon native, born in Bend, and growing up in Madras. He received his undergraduate degree from Western Oregon University in 1981, and his law degree from Willamette University in 1985. He began his legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in Jackson County. After four years, Jim entered private practice with the Firm, focusing on insurance defense litigation, domestic relations, and employment law
He has been a partner with the Firm since 1999, and successfully represents his clients in both state and federal courts. Jim is a member of the Oregon State Bar, Oregon Association of Defense Counsel, and has served on the Federal Local Rules Advisory Committee as a member of the Southern Oregon Federal Bar Association.
Jim and his wife, Kim, are the parents of three outstanding children, and he is active in coaching youth sports, including football, basketball, and baseball. He also enjoys the challenges presented by home improvement and remodeling projects.
