Ryan J. Vanderhoof

Ryan J. Vanderhoof was born in Portland, Oregon. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in finance from the University of Oregon in 1995. He graduated from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College in 1998. After graduation, he accepted a position as a law clerk to Lane County Circuit Court Judge Gregory G. Foote. He subsequently joined the firm as an associate, and became a partner in 2005. Ryan practice is focused on civil litigation, with an emphasis assisting employers dealing with all aspects of employment issues, including Oregon Bureau of Labor (BOLI), EEOC, discrimination and wrongful discharge complaints, and wage and hour litigation. He represents clients in administrative proceedings, in both state and federal trial courts, and with appeals before both the Oregon Court of Appeals and the federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ryan serves on the Board of Directors of the Southern Oregon Humane Society, and is President of the Jackson County Attorneys Bar Association, 2008.

Ryan spends his free time with his wife Maisie, and their sons Aidan and Dylan. He also enjoys reading history, playing poker and attending University of Oregon sporting events.
