Charley Bolen was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Maryland. He graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with High Honors and degrees in history and political science. While at St. Mary’s, he played on the college baseball team, earning most valuable player honors in 1989. After graduation, he lived in Uganda, and worked as a journalist throughout East Africa. Charley attended law school at Gonzaga University, graduating in 1996, cum laude. While at Gonzaga, he was a member of the Law Review and served as Student Bar Vice President. Charley joined the Firm in 1997 and became a partner in 2002. He focuses on civil litigation, which encompasses insurance law, personal injury, property disputes, products liability and civil rights. He is a member of the Oregon State and Federal Bars, and serves on the Executive Board of the Oregon State Bar Products Liability Committee. His is active in the local community, as past president of the ARC of Jackson County, as Board member for United Way of Jackson County, and also as a member of the Medford Rogue Rotary Club.

Charley enjoys spending time with his wife, Kimberly, and their two children. His hobbies include writing and traveling.
