Stephen L. Brown

Stephen Brown was raised in Southern Oregon, graduating from Bonanza High School. His roots in this region are deep, with family and friends scattered across the area. Upon accepting an associate position at Hornecker, Cowling, Hassen, and Heysell, LLP in 2007, Stephen finally returned to Southern Oregon after seventeen years.

Upon graduating from high school, Stephen attended the University of Oregon, graduating with a B.S. in political science. While attending the University of Oregon, Stephen was a member of the track and field team. Stephen was also active in the university’s student government.

After living and working with his wife, Tania, in Japan for nearly three years, Stephen began his foray into law by attending Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts, wherein he was Lead Articles Editor of the Journal of High Technology Law, and selected to the Dean’s list.

Since graduating from law school, Stephen has practiced primarily in the area of domestic relations, an area of law in which he now specializes.

Stephen enjoys the outdoors, SCUBA diving, and skiing. However, his time is most well spent when he is with his wife, daughter, and two Pugs.
